Strong communities are key since they are often an important source of social connections and a sense of belonging. Participation in a community bound together by attitudes, values and goals is an essential ingredient for a fulfilling life.

The existence of climate change is no longer a reasonable assumption, but a now a proven fact. There is no doubt that we humans have brought about a situation in which the conditions necessary for our survival are changing at a record speed. Based on findings of scientific researches it is proven, that the desire of cooperation in difficult situations are a natural and a constant element of the human nature. There is no  doubt, that from the aspect of the expected actions echoing from the general communication in connection with climate change (“battle”, “fight”, “stop”) the relevant, effective human activity is based on cooperation. Active local communities of engaged and empowered citizens can provide a stable base for effective implementation of climate strategies.
